MSA Recruitment is currently seeking an organised and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant for a growing finance team based in Liverpool. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative and finance skills looking to develop their career within a supportive business environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring supplier invoices are processed efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process supplier invoices accurately and on time.
- Reconcile supplier statements.
- Prepare payment runs and maintain payment schedules.
- Resolve invoice queries with suppliers.
- Maintain purchase ledger records.
- Support month-end finance processes.
- Assist with financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- AAT qualification (desirable but not essential).
